| I can promise you that Obama will keep us over their until we can no longer afford it. He appointed a neocon cabinet with the war hawk Clinton at a top post. Obama's ascendancy to the presidency changed only the hue of face on television. We will continue to get policies doomed to failure, unless Obama goes the route of FDR and engages us in war to bail us out. |

| It's really disheartening to live in the USA knowing that a man like Bush was voted into office not once but twice. Then people still dont do their homework but rely on the media to do it for them and vote for Obama. Mccain is Bush. Bush is Obama. It's all the same. The lines between republican and democrat has been blurred so much that theyre really the same anymore. Were pretty screwed now IMO. Ron Paul really was our last hope. Lets hope we can pull through 'til next election. |

| I Understand your point, but lest get real no 3rd party will ever win a nomination, so you pick the best canidate, I dont want or need a perfect govt, it dosen't exist just something to bring in fresh ideas, efficient and better than the previous one. ron paul is great but he is a idealouge, something sound very good on paper, but in real life their not practical and would never work |

| Won how? Because we took down Saddam and his regime? Lets not forget that before Bush even invaded Iraq he outlined the parameters for victory, one of which was to establish a Democratic government and allow them to be self sufficient. That country is a mess right now, and if we leave it'll get even worse before it gets better. And no I'm not saying we should stay. I don't think we should have ever gone in the first place. |

| You're correct. Perfection does not exist on Earth. Point taken. However, I think you're too quick to dismiss a man like Ron Paul. What do you mean, "Sounds good on paper?" You mean like the Constitution? That's a paper document with some great ideas, by some very idealistic people. I think the closer we stick to the rule of law, the better off we'll be. They said we couldn't win against Britain in 1776 too. In 1860, Lincoln's was a 3rd party... I think it's a matter of education. |
