I've made a few trips to our regional VA and know others that have also. We are satisfied with it. This doesn't mean that all centers work as well. I've heard about Walter Reed. Certainly it was poorly managed.
Im sure you can find specific instances where there are deficiencies in any system.
Example Currently we have about 700,000 bankruptcies each year due to medical expenses. Not good. Norway has none.
